Subject不妨Verb(Object)

Meaning (意思 yìsi)

不妨 is used to make a gentle suggestion, carrying the sense of "why not try doing something."

Explanation (解释 jiěshì)

不妨 is an adverb used to offer advice or make a suggestion in a polite, gentle manner. It carries the implication that "there's no harm in doing this — why not give it a try?" It is commonly used when you want to encourage someone to consider an alternative they haven't yet thought of. Compared to 可以 (can/may) or 应该 (should), 不妨 has a softer tone and is less imposing.
