Adverb 果然 expresses that an event or result occurs exactly as previously predicted.
Explanation (解释 jiěshì)
Use the adverb 果然 when the actual result matches what you have heard, guessed, or expected. It carries the meaning of "sure enough," "indeed," or "just as expected."
果然 typically comes after the subject and before a verb or adjective. It creates a link between a prior assumption and a subsequently confirmed fact. Whether the outcome is positive or negative, as long as it was anticipated beforehand, you can use 果然.

Common mistakes
- Wrong:他来果然了。Correct:他果然来了。
果然 is an adverb and must come before the verb or predicate; it cannot stand at the end of a sentence.
- Wrong:（Khi chưa có dự đoán）果然很好吃。Correct:（Khi chưa có dự đoán）真的很好吃。
果然 is used when a result turns out exactly as predicted. If you simply want to emphasize a fact plainly, use 真的 (really) instead.
