Used with `难免` to indicate an undesirable outcome that is almost certain to occur and difficult to avoid.
Explanation (解释 jiěshì)
When a certain situation occurs, there will be accompanying outcomes that we do not want but cannot avoid. In this case, you can use 难免. It means "hard to avoid," or "will inevitably...".
难免 is often used together with the adverb 会 to emphasize the likelihood of that outcome occurring. It typically expresses an objective fact or a general rule.

- 刚开始学外语，难免会说错。繁: 剛開始學外語，難免會說錯。Gāng kāishǐ xué wàiyǔ, nánmiǎn huì shuō cuò.
When you're just starting to learn a foreign language, it's inevitable that you'll make mistakes in speaking.
- 年轻人经验少，难免做错事。繁: 年輕人經驗少，難免做錯事。Niánqīng rén jīngyàn shǎo, nánmiǎn zuò cuò shì.
Young people with little experience inevitably make mistakes.

Hearing this bad news, he could not help but feel somewhat heartbroken.
Common mistakes
- Wrong:你这么努力，难免会考好。Correct:你这么努力，一定会考好。
难免 is only used for unwanted or negative results, not for good things.
- Wrong:刚开始工作，难免不会出错。Correct:刚开始工作，难免会出错。
难免 already carries the meaning 'unavoidable,' so adding the negation 不 is redundant.
