This is the most basic and common word order in Chinese, identical to Vietnamese: a Subject does something (Verb) to an Object.

Most simple sentences you encounter follow this pattern. Mastering this structure is the first step to speaking and writing grammatically. Unlike more complex structures, S-V-O word order is straightforward and easy to remember.
