Structure (结构 jiégòu)
Meaning (意思 yìsi)
The structure 又…又… is used to express two characteristics or states that coexist in the same subject, meaning "both… and…" or "at once… and…".
Explanation (解释 jiěshì)
Used to connect two adjectives or verbs, expressing that a person or thing possesses both characteristics or performs both actions simultaneously. The two elements joined by 又 must generally point in the same direction — both positive or both negative. This structure is very common in everyday spoken language.

Common mistakes

又…又… is typically used with adjectives or verbs, not to connect two nouns indicating status or identity; use 又是…又是… in that case instead.
