Common mistakes
- Wrong:由此可见，天气很热。Correct:街上的人都打着伞，由此可见天气很热。
由此可见 must be used after presenting a fact or evidence; it cannot be used to open a statement without basis.
- Wrong:下雨了，由此可见我不能出去了。Correct:下雨了，看来我不能出去了。
In everyday speech, using 看来 (kànlái) is more natural. 由此可见 has a formal tone and is rarely used in daily life.
