怎么样 is used to ask for an opinion or evaluation about a thing or matter, meaning "how is it?" or "what do you think?"
Explanation (解释 jiěshì)
怎么样 (zěnmeyàng) is an interrogative pronoun meaning "how?" or "what is it like?". There are two main usages:
- Placed after a noun or subject to ask about the condition or quality of a person or thing. Example:
天气怎么样？(What is the weather like?). - Placed at the end of a sentence to make a suggestion and ask for the listener's opinion. Example:
我们去吃饭，怎么样？(How about we go eat?).
